Acropolis, the most outstanding ancient building complex in Greece, is a comprehensive public building and the center of religious politics. The Acropolis covers an area of about 3 hectares (30,000 square meters, its east-west length is about 280 meters, and its north-south width is about 130 meters). Buried in the ruins of the Acropolis are the ideals of the Golden Age of Greece, the philosophy of Socrates, and the geometry of Pythagoras. As a masterpiece of ancient Greek architecture, the Acropolis reached the highest level of ancient Greek holy land buildings, temples, columns and carvings.
